Based at Exeter, England, Stovax Ltd was
established in 1981 to design, manufacture and distribute wood
burning stoves and fireside accessories. Together with its sister
company Gazco Ltd, which was formed 8 years later, the combined
businesses have expanded consistently to become one of Europe’s
leading manufacturers of stoves and fires. The Stovax Group
currently employs in excess of 260 people, with the majority being
based in Devon.
The Group has a policy of developing and
promoting employees from within and, as a result, many staff have
built long term careers with us. However, with the growth of the
Group, another aspect has been the continual recruitment of
dedicated and experienced personnel across all departments and
